Dear all, I am new here and wish to contribute to the project. My concern it that Cygwin is needed to compile dpkg, which might create installation conflicts between Cygwin existing packages and future W32 Debian packages.
Can dpkg (http://debian-cygwin.sourceforge.net/bootstrap) be compiled natively under Windows using mingw and DEV-C++ (http://www.bloodshed.net)? Could anyone inform me of the project status?
