reassign 539999 ftp.debian.org retitle 539999 ROM: kpowersave -- dead upstream, obsolete thanks
As written in the original RFA bug report, kpowersave is dead upstream. There is no KDE4 port, as KDE4 has a functional equivalent (named powerdevil) already included in the standard kdebase-workspace package. It also has to be noted that HAL (its backend) is deprecated (although hal most likely will not be removed in time for squeeze). Although kpowersave is a rather popular package, I see no good reason to keep it around for squeeze and thus request its removal. The RFA has been open since August.
