I would like to see GPT fdisk package in Debian too. There are debs build by OpenSUSE Build Service http://www.rodsbooks.com/gdisk/download.html#obs
Parted supports GPT too but this GPT fdisk is more powerful. Partition table conversion was especially useful to me.
