Hi! Just a short follow-up on this: As far as I can see, the main (only?) obstacle for packaging this has recently been resolved, as Codemirror 2.12 has a SPARQL mode. Thus, packaging Codemirror, see Bug #629445 would make it possible to remove the duplicated code currently in the CPAN distribution, and so bring it in line with Debian Policy.
