Hello. I think I've finally made a hibernate package that can be uploaded to sid. It is, of course, far from ideal as I didn't fix scriptlets themselves but it works for me, it is probably better and not worse than the current sid version, it fixes several bugs, has no lintian warnings (except for I: about hyphens in manpages) and is prepared for the console-tools removal.
It is available at http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/h/hibernate/hibernate_2.0+15+g88d54a8-1.dsc I hope it will be included in Wheezy, after that I will look at pm-utils as a replacement. -- WBR, wRAR
