A database schema is required in order to run the PostBooks application The database schema is not included in the source tarball. Rather, upstream distributes the schema as a separate download
They have several schemas available: - an empty database (just the tables) - a quickstart database (includes chart of accounts and other standard content in the tables) - a demo database (like quickstart, but also includes sample customers and transaction data) The current versions are available here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/postbooks/files/03%20PostBooks-databases/4.1.0/ They also mention an installer but it is not clear whether their "installer" will run as a Debian package or if it is better to just treat the quickstart schema as a new source package and implement a postinst script to install it. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
