Hi! Thinking about it I see no point in keeping the package longer in Debian. So instead of orphaning it, I think we should go directly to removing it. I havn't used it myself for quite some time and it doesn't seem anyone else is actively using it nowadays. Also I can't think of anything ethtool and others can't do (and much more).
