I assume you know about the alternatives for Python 3 support, but just in case, have a look at: https://packages.debian.org/sid/python3-mysql.connector Bug#768096: ITP: python-mysqlclient -- Python interface to MySQL http://bugs.debian.org/768096 (Currently in new awaiting entry to experimental). Just to confirm: this package doesn't appear to conflict with python-mysqldb, is that correct?
