I guess I do this the ugliest possible way, but my .xsession has:
BGDIR=/home/gwolf/.backgrounds
while /bin/true
do
feh --bg-max $BGDIR/$(xscreensaver-getimage-file $BGDIR)
sleep 60
done &
I guess there's more to wallpaperd than this, right?
