Description: Go package for reading from continuously updated files (tail -f) tail is a Go library striving to emulate the features of the BSD tail program (like tail -f). It comes with full support for truncation/move detection as it is designed to work with log rotation tools. This package is a required dependency for the latest telegraf upstream release. This is a fork of the golang-github-hpcloud-tail that got removed some time ago from the archive. Attached the initial packaging. It requires filling the ITP bug number, and setting proper Uploaders.
