Ampy is meant to be a simple command line tool to manipulate files and run code
on a CircuitPython or MicroPython board over its serial connection. With ampy
you can send files from your computer to the board's file system, download

to be executed.
I'm planning to maintain this package in the Python Team.

ampy is officially unmaintained and I've decided that packaging it isn't
a good idea after all, as the testsuite fails and it's still using the
(deprecated) distutils library :(
