Description : Asynchronous client for DirecTV receivers using the SHEF
protocol
This library provides tools to monitor and control DirecTV receivers and
associated client devices over a network using the SHEF protocol. It supports
commands for media control, such as play, pause, and stop, as well as
navigation commands like up, down, left, and right. It also allows changing
channels and sending other remote commands. External Access must be enabled on
the DirecTV device for full functionality.
This library is a dependancy of Home Assistant, the Python smart home platform.
I plan to maintain it as part of the Home Assistant team.
