My current project is converting all orphaned packages without a version control system to git on salsa under the Debian group. I am not considering removal nor other teams maintenance. I got a streamlined process to create a git repo (it is already created on my laptop. :), but do not want to spend time on considering longer term maintenance. Thus left to myself and without the ITA, I would create <URL: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/python-ttystatus > and leave it to someone else to decide what to do next. The ITA made me leave the package alone, but thought I could at least offer the git repository in case you had run into problems creating such repository. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
