* Package name : python-libxdo
Version : 0.1.1a
Upstream Author : Samuele Santi <[email protected]>
* URL : https://github.com/rshk/python-libxdo
* License : BSD
Programming Lang: Python
Description : Python library for simulating X11 keyboard/mouse input
(libxdo bindings)
Python bindings for libxdo, the X11 keyboard/mouse event
generator/simulator. This is useful for writing scripts to manipulate
a running X11 session, or for writing test suites for GUI tools.
I aim to package this under the mantle of the python-modules team.
I'm hoping to replace python-xdo with this. python-libxdo has the
following advantages over python-xdo:
* covers much more of the libxdo API
* ctypes, not compiled
* supports python3 as well as python2
* i'm not the upstream ;)

According to upstreams docu: "The project is still work in progress! Only
a small part of the library is supported, and tests / documentation are
missing."
As upstream abandoned this software a decade ago, I don't think it is
needed in Debian.
