mmdbinspect is a modern alternative/replacement for mmdblookup, currently
provided by the package mmdb-bin.
Look up records for one or more IPs/networks in one or more .mmdb databases
(such as the MaxMind GeoIP2 databases). The program outputs the selected
records in YAML or JSONL format.
The MaxMind DB format is an open format. The spec is available at
https://maxmind.github.io/MaxMind-DB/. This spec is licensed under the
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
The version 2.0.0, that I plan to package, is not yet released yet, so for
now I packaged the latest commit on Git tree. I'd expect 2.0 to be released
before Forky is out.
This package will be maintained within the Go team.
