I just wanted to warn you that this package is at risk of not being
included in Debian 14. See https://bugs.debian.org/883214 .
https://bugs.debian.org/1125052 is an example bug for a Pidgin plugin.

I haven't heard directly from the Debian maintainer for pidgin.
Upstream thinks it's too early now to package pidgin 3, but didn't
answer my reply yet where I tried to get a better understanding of
when it might not be too early. If the only Pidgin in Debian 14 is
Pidgin 3, there might be none or only a few plugins ready.
