Hello Josenilson, Bastian, I have uploaded a package named python-librosa to Debian, and thanks to Bastian, I realized that you (Josenilson), have already packaged librosa for Debian, under the umbrella of Debian Python Team: the repository is at https://salsa.debian.org/nilsonfsilva/librosa
Please accept my apologies about my misunderstanding. My packaging work for the same Python library can be seem at https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/python-librosa Here are the main differences between our works: - you did not include the data files which allow one to run the unit tests, arguing that they are in another GitHub repository and are distributed with no license information, so no tests are run. - I included those data file, and the file debian/copyright is stating that by default all files are © Brian McFee & librosa development team, under ISC license. There are some other copyright entries, about the subdirectory docs/examples/audio - your packaging work is based on version 0.10.2 - I packaged version 0.11.0 - I packaged python3-resample and uploaded it to Debian, and thanks to the new DFSG team, its NEW process was ultra-fast. This pakage has reached debian/testing - I added a few build-dependencies to python-librosa, on packages python3-pooch, python3-resmaple, python3-resampy, so the units test can be run: 13500 tests are passing. - I raised an ITP bugreport (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1130020), uploaded the package into the NEW queue (too quickly), and it was accepted; here is its tracker page: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/python-librosa ----------------------------------------------------- What would you like to do further? May I add you as an uploader to the package in version 0.11.0 ? Would you prefer another way of coworking? Best regards, Georges.
