The golang-gopkg-xmlpath.v2 package contains upstream code from 2015, and appears unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-gopkg-xmlpath.v2 The upstream project has no activity since 11 years ago: https://github.com/go-xmlpath/xmlpath This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
