The golang-github-blevesearch-go-porterstemmer package ships upstream code from 2014. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-blevesearch-go-porterstemmer The upstream project had its last git commit ~6 years ago: https://github.com/blevesearch/go-porterstemmer This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
