PLTable is a Python table-formatting library derived from PTable, which in turn originated as a fork of PrettyTable. PLTable provides functionality that is not available in the currently packaged PrettyTable implementation, including additional Unicode table-rendering support and additional output/export functionality. In particular, PLTable provides the `UNICODE_LINES` table style and the `BOX_CHARS` API, which are not provided by the current PrettyTable package. The latest upstream release is version 1.1.0, released on 21 November 2023. The source distribution is available from PyPI: https://pypi.org/project/PLTable/ PLTable is distributed under the BSD 3-Clause license. There is currently no Debian package for PLTable and no existing RFP/ITP for this software is known to the submitter. Please consider packaging PLTable for Debian, preferably as the `python3-pltable` binary package.
