Jobs are plain functions taking a callback, and the number of jobs allowed to run at once is controlled by a concurrency setting that may be changed while the queue is running. Workers can report results or errors either through the callback or by returning a promise, and the queue emits start, end, success and error events so progress can be tracked. It is needed as a dependency of Zotero's note editor.
