I haven't seen any activity wrt to packaging eclipse 3.0 (since Oct 11). If there is no desire to package this software, I would gladly take it, since I am using it myself professionally. eclipse 3.0-M6 is out and I believe it's close to being final, so we should not really wait for the final to provide an early version. If there is no reply in a reasonable amount of time (eg a week), I'll consider that noone is interested anymore and I'll file myself a ITP and probably start working on it.
