Yes, that's my point. Most tools already have support for either sort files themselves, or to accept a sorted list. Those that don't are usually trivial to fix in no time. Seriously, I fail to see where this package can be useful, except for bloating the archive or learning how to debianise an LD_PRELOAD-able library. If there IS some use cases where it really is useful, and the program is not easy to fix, or feed a sorted list to, please tell me, I'm very interested.
