I think it would be better to have a www.debian.org/projects page where all the sub-projects (like doc, d-i, CDDs, ports etc.) are introduced with a small paragraph and a link to their page (wherever that may be). debian-women could be one of them. It is pretty non-intuitive to have all those projects listed under devel/.
