Hello, I was trying to install Debian Hurd using the CDs and following the http://www.nl.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-cd.en.html page. I've found some problems:
In "The next steps" section, it should say to `export TERM=mach` before running ./native-install. For editing, the page suggests nano, but nano is not installed at this momente. It should suggest nano-tiny. In the fstab example, it says "GNU drive name", and in the settrans command it uses for the same thing "Hurd drive name". It should tell us to copy /cdrom/upgrade/random to /dev before running /cdrom/upgrade/install.sh because without it it's impossible to install ssh. -- []'s marcot mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] jabber:[EMAIL PROTECTED] UIN:50599075 msn:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel:33346720 Cel:91844179 http://www.dcc.ufmg.br/~marcot/ SAIA DO COMPUTADOR, QUERO TE VER NAS RUAS! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
