Hmm - according to the CSS2 spec (5.11.2), :link and :visited are mutually
exclusive, so :link:visited won't work, or am I mistaken? The following
(untested!) might be better:
:link { color: #0000FF; }
:link:active { color: #FF0000; }
:link:hover { color: #F000FF; }
:visited { color: #800080; }
:visited:active { color: #FF0000; }
:visited:hover { color: #F000FF; }
