I think one of the requeriments (sp?) to be an official (www.<country>.debian.org) Debian www mirror should be to have up-to-date pages. It's OK that the pages might be a few days (even a week) out of date, but a mirror last updated in September (www.br.debian.org/debian.usp.br -- check the BTS timestamp page and the list archives index) is not a good thing.
Inserting a hidden timestamp page and using a script to check if the mirrors are at most 8 days out of date (and not letting out-of-date mirrors be listed as official, much less having a .debian.org DNS alias) would do the trick. -- Cesar Eduardo Barros [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
