One improvement I didn't bother making is to write a script that will create a list of all the old years and automatically create the list of links to the index of those years. Feel free to implement this and change */News/index.wml and */security/index.wml if you wish.
After the change above, we should be able to go from one year to the next without having to worry about changing a lot of files.
