Yes.

All the other language directories are in English and he was simply telling
you that. Frankly, I realized after we started that there is no reason
to use the english word for the languages, except that it is the most common
language between all the translators.

So, my opinion is that it doesn't matter and you may keep this name for
the directory - as long as the other translators don't demand that
they be allowed to change the name of their directories.
