Hi, debwww is a group that is used for maintenance of the web pages on the server, and should contain only selected people because these people can do a lot of stuff with the web pages, potentially dangerous if ever compromised (yes, anything can happen, better safe than sorry).
Therefore me and Joey did some cleaning up. Here's a list of old members, and reasons why they stayed or were removed: treacy - stay, webmaster aph - stay, does releases/potato/*/ and stuff joey - stay, you know why :) maor - remove, never seen him do anything lohner - stay, does things sometimes joeyh - remove, used to be in debwww so he can build DWN on klecker, no longer jules - remove, never seen him do anything that needed debwww vincent - remove, never seen him do anything that needed debwww gecko - stay, could return one day :) jthom - remove, never seen him do anything strombrg - remove, never seen him do anything nick - remove, coded Packages/ but nothing else after that csmall - stay, webmaster joy - stay, webmaster lawrencc - remove, never seen him do anything that needed debwww foka - remove, never seen him do anything that needed debwww archvsync - stay, could be needed for mirroring mendoza - stay, listarchives Additionally, cas and nick have been removed from the webmaster alias, obviously because they don't need it. The changes have already been done, but they are reversible if it turns out it's necessary for someone to really be in debwww.
