Package: www.debian.org Version: 20020118 Severity: normal Searching for bug reports for an unknown package fails to distinguish between "package does not exist" and "package has no bugs".
When visiting bugs.debian.org and doing a search by package name for bugs in the package "sdfsdfsdfsdf", I am taken to the result page <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=pkg&data=sdfsdfsdfsdf&archive=no> which displays the following: Debian Bug report logs: package sdfsdfsdfsdf You might like to refer to the <sdfsdfsdfsdf package page>. ================================================================ No reports found! ================================================================ (Standard footer: Debian bug tracking system etc etc etc) The clause "you might like to refer ..." has a clickable link which, of course, produces a "Debian package search results -- No responses to your query" page. This is misleading and confusing. It would be preferable if the link was omitted (or even, the bug search returned a completely different kind of result page) when the package in question does not exist in any shape or form.
