Hello I am interested in submitting my abstract for Span in February. Here it is:
Abstract
This presentation will demonstrate how merit-based student aid in the state of Florida supports student success among African-American students. For the purposes of this presentation student success is defined as enrollment, persistence, and graduation from a state-funded university. This study used high school graduates academic and financial aid records before and after the implementation of the states merit aid program to examine student success in college over a five-year period.
