Hi, after trying to search for bugs related to a recent unstable linux-image package this evening I recieved the following webpage message ( sorry url not avail), after following the sidebar link "Bug Reports" (under "Support")
" Debian Bug report logs: package linux-image in unstable No maintainer for linux-image. Please do not report new bugs against this package. There is no record of the linux-image package, and no bugs have been filed against it. See the archived reports " .....etc. I emailed [EMAIL PROTECTED] to report this with exasperation, BUT, then found I could access bug reports via the "Debian Package" link, although with more work. Please find below my follow-up message to him, that may help to find any link error. Contact me if you need more info as I can replicate it. Date: Wednesday 08 November 2006 17:38 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi, sorry.... seems I jumped the gun. I have managed to find bug reports via the package search pages so this is probably a website bug of no concern to yourself. The error was reported after following the sidebar link "Support>Bug Reports" on the www.debian.org page pointing to www.debian.org/Bugs and entering 'linux' or 'linux-image' in the "Find Bugs By Package" box. Using the sidebar link "Debian Packages" searching for 'linux-image' in 'unstable' and then choosing an appropriate package I can then access bug reports ok. So it would seem www.debian.org/Bugs or a related page is at error. Thanks and sorry for the alert.....
