I think it is correct CSS. Properties that start with a - are reserved and extend the current CSS ruleset. For reference: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/syndata.html#q4 Is that a recent bug in the W3C CSS Validator? We seem to be getting a few of these reports recently.
