Sorry about the trouble! - I put in the check because the list always used to be somewhat-but-not-actually-fully-sorted, and I wanted to keep it sorted. If necessary, the error could be turned into a warning (which would be more likely to get lost in the rest of the output). BTW, there's also a check to verify that an entry appears in the right country section.
