We are using Debian on all workstations and one server (storage) all of them with Sid release, Gnome desktop. Software: Blender 2.4 and 2.5 with DrQueue distributed rendering, Cinelerra, Kdenlive, Gimp, MyPaint and many others. On storage server we are using nfs-server.
