The two pages serve very different purposes so I don't think that would be helpful. The wiki page has a very specific purpose[1] and is internal facing; it gathers data to be used for presentation to Debian members/contributors on various Debian infrastructure. The web page on the other hand seems to be the opposite, I'm not sure of the history of that page so I can't really infer the purpose of it. Searching the mists of time for what links to it and to the related_links page (where the content originally was) it seems it originated in 1998[2] but no rationale was given for adding it to the site. The person who added it to the site appears to be MIA and I doubt he would remember the reason for adding it anyway and it might no longer be valid since a lot of time has passed and things have changed a fair bit since 1998. The page therefore doesn't have a known and agreed on purpose so we need the Debian community to define one, probably with a discussion on debian-project. 1. https://wiki.debian.org/Services/DerivativesCensus 2. https://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/webwml/webwml/english/related_links.wml?r1=1.4&r2=1.5 -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
