I don't know. AFAIR, the original problem was that after a package migrated to testing, it took some hours until the file listing was updated. I believe that, if information is shown, it should be accurate. Ideally the file listing should be updated in the same moment the package moves to testing. If this is not feasible, one could display an "outdated" warning temporarily. Note, that unstable probably has the same problem.
