That search is for any architecture and as it happens, sparc64 is out
of date and thus has gnome-session-properties:

https://packages.debian.org/sid/sparc64/gnome-session-bin/filelist

If you search only on amd64 then it doesn't return anything:

https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=sid&arch=amd64&mode=path&searchon=contents&keywords=gnome-session-properties
