I think we could have prevented this kind of incidents, at least for stable updates ISO on Debian WWW site. For links on [0], we could use "http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/"; instead of "http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/i386/amd64/";.
