It is an explicit goal of the donations page to be simple and easy for people who don't care how they donate to Debian. The default section is required for this goal. Please revise your patch to take this into account. BTW, we really need a way to make the page less annoying for translators after updates. Something like how the merchandise or CD vendors pages work perhaps.
