Package: installation-guide-amd64
Version: wheezy
Severity: normal
On http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/installmanual I selected the
link for amd64 pdf,
http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/amd64/install.pdf.en. When I
view this it says that it is the installation guide for Debian 8,
jessie. See, e.g., the 2nd page.
Unless I've got some cache problems (I think I did look at the jessie
guide, though I don't think it was the pdf version), this is likely a
problem with the website or build process, not the manual itself.

Currently running on an old system, but was getting current
installation manuals.

Hello all
I've checked that the installation guide links in the website are correct now,
for stable, testing and oldstable.
The Release Checklist
(https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/ReleaseTeam/ReleaseCheckList ) now list tasks
about updating both release notes and installation guide links in the website,
so when we release Debian 10 (and future releases) this shouldn't happen again :-)
So I'm closing this bug, thanks everybody who helped to solve it.
Kind regards,
