The key is the variable SUBS in the Makefiles and it's declared basically in $LANG/Makefile. So I solved my wishes now by modifying english/Makefile and decreased SUBS to something that basically has only a few folders included. We may can create a new main Makefile target like 'engslish-install-striped' which has then a decreased list of folders. -- Regards Carsten Schoenert
