Excellent plan. The Debian FAQ is another document which has translations, but never got gettextize'd. Otoh: I am not really sure about what would be best to do with it; it very much shows its age and lack of maintenance :( Anyway, yes, gettextizing the Social Contract would be a very useful thing to do.
