As a first note, the web team do not manage archive.debian.org, rather
the mirror team, in conjunction with the sysadmin team.

At the time this bug was filed, archive.debian.org had never supported
TLS, nor been advertised as supporting it, so the "wrong" certificate
was arguably user error.

archive.debian.org has been front-ended by a CDN since late 2023, with
TLS termination, so I'm closing this bug now.

Regards,

Adam
