I don't know off-hand, but you can simply re-install the XF3 server:
        apt-get install xserver-svga    (or whichever 3.3.* server you
                                         were using before)

Then edit /etc/X11/xserver to use XF86_SVGA (or the appropriate binary if
you're using another 3.3.* server) instead of XFree86.  This is what I'm
currently using, as I'm less than happy with the XF 4 server on my SiS
6326, and I'm sticking with the trusty 3.3.6 server. :-)
