Thanks for the report. We need a little more information:
* We need /var/cache/apt/archive/xbase-clients_4.1.0-17_*.deb. I.e., the
file apt downloaded. Please do not email it, but put it up on the web
somewhere and provide us with a URL.
* The output of the following 3 commands:
+ grep app-defaults /var/lib/dpkg/info/*.list
+ ls -l /etc/X11
+ ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/X11
* What was the previous version (if any) of xbase-clients that you were
upgrading from? Was this a new install? Was there any output from
xbase-clients *before* the 'Setting up xbase-clients (4.1.0-17)' message?
