Ok, most funny thing is with pc105compose and running xinit it all works. All LC stuff is this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] LANG=C LC_MESSAGES=C And in my .xinitrc I also have export [EMAIL PROTECTED] root only has LANG=C and nothing else, can this be the reason why? Seems like it. Any idea how I could get GDM to do the right thing, too?
