hi guys i have also this bug with my Thinkpad T500 running Debian Squeeze
if i enable KMS i get random horizontal flicker across parts of the screen as described above
i tried the solution mentioned but no luck herethe move to not supporting KMS off is *really* rather annoying ... is there a good reason for having done so?
