If I middle click repeatedly and quickly (and remember, this computer has arguably one of Intel's worst ever processors, so "click quickly" doesn't mean much here) on the "dead space" of a scrollbar in Konqueror, I can reproduce it pretty easily. Strangely more, a middle click appears to never even make it to the scrollbar.
This appears only in konqueror. Other KDE apps are not affected. Not even xkill on konqueror will bring me back to normal, however. In fact, if I kill X clients, the xserver doesn't come back. If I exit the KDE session normally, the kdm session seems to be fine, and I login, but the problem *very* quickly comes back. I can do `/etc/init,d/kdm restart` to bring myself back to normal.
